Many years ago in Macomb, IL, at Western Illinois University, when I was a junior and senior, I would go to the girls side of the dormitory on Thompson Nine and sleep with Janet K. Tommie would sleep with her roommate, Linda A. We slept wearing undershirts and under pants.
It was safe, soft, warm, gentle. It was the singularly most intimate thing I have ever shared with another human being. I miss my basset hound, K.C. (Killer Chloe).
