At, in, and around the Mosque

Inside the Mosque - the most Holy of Words (above and below)

Just Who are American Muslims? (in the hallway of the school)

A reminder to the children (and the teachers) - in the school hallway

A sneak peek at the Rolling Meadows water tower - this is OUR town.

 The beautiful, large prayer rug

Upon entering the Mosque grounds, this is the first side view of the building you would see

From the back entrance to the Mosque - the tastefully planted ever greens provide a warmth of green over the black topped back parking lot.

A picture perfect blue sky day - All Thanks to Allah for days such as these; and for the others, that we might better appreciate days such as these.

South end of the parking lot.  Please give generously so that we can upgrade the entire lot.

Same area, another angle.

And again, Northrup Grumman's parking lot and building in the far background.

This looks a tad desolate, and crumbling. The need for present upgrades to this infrastructure is readily apparent.

Note how angled this part of the lot is.  It needs to be smoothed and flattened.

And yet, note the beauty of the yellow flowers.  Again, all thanks and praise to Allah.

This does not look too bad, but the grass growing between the seams of the concrete will cause it to crumble at an accelerated rate.

Again, more grass fighting its way through the black-topped seams.

One can detect the unlevelness of the parking lot.  This must be addressed.

Do you doubt for one second, oh man, the awesome power of the Lord?

Not so much work is needed here, but still,  after the new lot is fully rebuilt, this will look much better.

How lovely, the tree and grass garden.  How thoughtful!

Huge crack exposes the need for a complete refurbishing.

Still more evidence of the need.

Life, manifesting itself. How inspiring!

And more life - more green - God is GREAT!

Even more life; even more green!

Oh November - thy colors browns, yellows, golds and green!

Could this not be an early April day?  Yes, but, no; it's not.

A lovely side of the mosque - seldom seen.  Here, the parking lot is in excellent condition (not so many cars use it).

A view up the street upon which the Mosque stands.

Again, such a lovely view - there are even undertones of a Christian church.  But are we not all, we, the monotheistic faith traditions, one and the same at the heart; at the base; at the soul?

Peace and good will to you my friends.

Brother Mark
